Hey folks, first let me say this is not a get rich quick scheme, however, this is a REAL opportunity that may allow you to earn extra money while having a good time! And in times as such, those funds can only be helpful! I don't know about you but it is nice when you have 6 months of car payments sitting in the bank rather than piecing it together every month (stressful).
So, how can you possibly make money while having fun? Produce a stage play! It's as simple as that!!!
To give you an idea let's say your local venue (i.e. high shool auditorium, community center w/ stage, blackbox theater, performing arts center, church, etc) may seat a range from 50-1500 (however I would encourage you to start small). Multiply that number by whatever you decided to charge for tickets and after you take off overhead costs, you could still have a money in your pocket! (You can earn more if you are 501c3 or some who is can sponsor you).
Let's do the math: Venue 500 seats TIMES $20/ticket EQUALS $10,000! Take off venue/promotion costs ~$3000, Compensation to actors ~$1500, Set-can be made with light weightpanels/Props ~$500...and in your pocket you have an extra $5000! That's just after ONE performance...do the show on a Friday and Saturday and sell out each time, you just made ~$10,000 over a weekend (minus the nominal percentage to the playwright)!
Sounds good right, but don't have a script? No problem! Contact Dr. Denise Treadwell, who has binders full of scripts for stage plays (i.e. inspirational, contemporary, thought provoking, etc ).
The playwright typically asks for $1000-$3000 up front and anywhere from 10%-20% of ticket sales. She releases the copyright to you for a period of time (depending on how many shows you want to produce) so that you can produce the show in that period of time.
If this sounds of interest to you, contact playwright, Dr. Denise Treadwell at: email@example.com
Some of her titles to her plays include:
Dancing in the Dark
I was an only child
Caught in the Act
Better than Sex
The Mystical Box
Rainbow Forest (childrens play)
Fairpark High (teen play)
He Touched Me
Can Ya' Hear Me Now
They Didn't Believe
Dr. Denise Treadwell's plays have been produced in several states and have been received very well! Again, if this sounds of interest to you, contact her at: firstname.lastname@example.org

An inspirational stage play...
"SHOW ME YOURS & I'LL SHOW YOU MINE"
Tyrone James likes to get his 'groove' on. This sometimes causes him to mismanage his life and his finances. He appreciates beautiful women and wants to love.
However, he wants to be shown the love first. What he doesn't realize is, the love was there from the very beginning.

In this blog I just want to share some of the dreams I've had about the late, great, Michael Jospeh Jackson. I'm kicking myself becuase I should have written down the dreams as I had them, but of course I didn't, so I will just write to the best of my recollection.
Those who know me know I love me some Michael Jackson! Like many, since I was a child, I've always loved him and his music! Thinking back now, I remember being like 11 or 12 when I joined his fan club for a year. Like, I adored this guy! He just always seemed like a sweet and gentle spirit. I wish I could have met him. I was devastated when I saw someone had posted on FaceBook RIP Michael Jackson. I thought it was a joke...until I saw the news coverage on television. Needless to say, when it was confirmed that MJ had passed...it felt unreal. June 25th was a day that I really did not sleep. I was literally awake the entire night listening to the radio as they played all his classics.
Well, what was interesting was after all these (20+) years that I'd been a fan, I'd never had a dream about him. It wasn't until he passed, that I only had a hand full of dreams about him. Check them out below...and as I said, I vaguely remember them :(
My first dream ever about MJ
The first dream seem to take place at night or in the evening. I remember it was dark out and MJ arrived on a horse and carriage. I remember looking at him in awe and feeling a little hesitant because I was concerned that he'd be resistant or would kinda have his guard up since I was a fan. But that wasn't the case. He never said a word to me...just held his hand out for me to take hold so I could step onto the carriage with him. We rode a bit but he never said a word to me.
I don't remember the order of the other dreams so I'll just list them randomly...
I cant describe where MJ was but it was just a space. He was talking to a young woman who had crinkley black hair. She wore her hair pulled back into a neat ponytail...maybe even a bun or tucked under. She was holding a child. He was looking at her some way. Maybe as though he was trying to remember her or look at her long enough so he wouldn't forget her. I want to say he was holding one of her hands or touching her arm...its not clear though since I had the dream some time after he passed away
What's amazing about this dream is that I read on another site of someone who had a dream similar to this one. What are the odds of that happening? Anyway, I saw Michael performing on a HUGE stage and the audience was composed entirely of nuns (would love to know symbolism behind that). From that dream I remember somehow just knowing MJ was okay and was ready to go. After waking from that dream I remember having some sort of relief just knowing MJ was okay...that he was at peace (which is what was said but not said in the dream...if that makes any sense).
I was at an amusement park and in the dream I knew MJ was gone but it's like he was still there...his presence I suppose. I saw his face. It's vague but I remember something about a roller coaster and then seeing his 3 children. I don't know what they were on but Prince and Paris were covered with a sheet (white or beige), I couldn't see them at all but I knew they were there. Next to them was Blanket, who was not covered...like the sheet wasn't long enough to cover him too. I remember in the dream MJ wasn't happy. When I woke from this dream I was wondering could this mean that MJ not like the fact that they have been 'uncovered'...no more masks? I'm not a dream interpreter, but was just trying to make sense out of it all...lol
This last dream was strange. I don't know if they were just huge homes or mansions...but the place I saw was beautiful! I can't describe it, but it looked like a place with just cozy homes surrounded by manicured green lawns...maybe even green rolling hills. Michael came out of this one house. And of course you know how dreams jump around...like time doesn't exist in the dreams. Next thing you know, Michael and I are in the back seat of a limo. As MJ spoke to me, his eyes were closed...his mouth was closed...it never opened to to utter a word, though he was talking to me. I looked at him and he asked me to marry him. But then, like all in the same breath he was like, you don't want to marry me like this. Now, this was odd because, yes I loved MJ...but not in the crush type of way...it's always been brotherly love. Anyhoo...I know it was more to this dream but of course...I don't remember it :(
So, these are the only dreams that I've had of the King of Pop. I haven't dreamt about him in a long time! I kinda wish I would. It's like I get a chance to be close him. It's all good though because I know he's in a much better place.
Rest in peace MJ...we love YOU MORE!
P.S. Sometimes MJ will cross my mind and as soon as he does, I literally feel tingly all over :)
